Nowadays it is very common to simply send someone a text for a simple question or answer…or just sending a tik tok video you just couldn’t help to share.  In the real estate business, and likely in most industries, a phone call is what it is going to take to the a problem solved.

When representing a buyer or seller in a real estate transaction, it is our job as REALTORS® to represent our clients and put their interests above our own.  That is a staple, common sense in my opinion.  I have had several transactions to where the other agent ‘just’ would not return phone calls and would only respond to text messages.  This is irresponsible and dangerous.  There are simply too many factors that go into a transaction that could make it go sideways.  It does not only take having a license and a good marketing plan to be successful, it also takes the most important trait of all in this business….trustworthiness.
