It is a well known fact that selling a home can be very stressful. I never claim to have all of the answers, but I have enough experience to point you in the right direction and make the process as easy as possible. You may hear stories from your friends, relatives or co-workers on certain tactics or strategies that work or you may watch the Reality Shows, which are the most UnRealistic things on TV today:( , but truth be told every situation is different and there are so many variables that go into making a home sell. It is a process and it takes many different things to line up correctly, but a lot of the times it is a quick sale and a smooth transaction.
Commissions are negotiable thanks to The Sherman Antitrust Act of 1890. Basically, there is no set rate on fees, no matter what any slick salesman tells you. All commissions are negotiable. As a small Firm with no major overhead such as a big office, tv and radio advertisements, or sponsorship obligations, I am able to pass the savings onto my clients. A lower listing fee does not mean a lower level of service. Quite the contrary; as my Full Service Package includes the same or better features as the bigger Firms that I was previously affiliated.
